VROOM DELIVERY LAUNCHES RETAIL MEDIA NETWORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DIGITS

Vroom Delivery has teamed up with DIGITS Agency to launch a Retail Media Network

In a groundbreaking move for the convenience retail industry, Vroom Delivery has teamed up with DIGITS Agency to launch a Retail Media Network (RMN), providing small- and medium-sized convenience retailers with access to advertising revenue historically reserved for the largest retailers. This new platform will allow CPG brands to pay retailers for premium digital slotting of their products on e-commerce channels such as websites, apps, and in-store kiosks. The partnership opens up new revenue streams and significantly reduces the cost of e-commerce programs for retailers.

Vroom Delivery

Vroom’s platform, which has a national network of stores, will provide a generalizable solution that allows retailers of all sizes to participate. The partnership is opt-in, meaning retailers can choose whether to access the new retail media revenue. Those that do can expect to see platform fees covered by CPG-funded campaigns, with the potential for this revenue to increase significantly in the coming years.

 

For DIGITS Agency, this partnership marks its first foray into the convenience retail space. DIGITS has spent over eight years providing retail media services to grocery chains and CPGs, and this collaboration with Vroom Delivery positions DIGITS to help brands reach the elusive convenience shopper. By leveraging this network, brands can promote beverages, snacks, and other products through targeted, premium on-site media placements. The program will initially focus on first-party onsite and in-store experiences, but Vroom and DIGITS plan to expand into off-site media in the near future, driving additional traffic and revenue through social media and other digital channels.
